With default CRM settings, you can store the following properties for a person customer:
- person’s name
- company name
- job title
- phone numbers
- email addresses
- gender
- logins in social networks and messengers
- postal addresses
- website URL
- language
- time zone
- description
For company customers the default list of properties is shorter:
- company name
- email addresses
- phone numbers
- postal addresses
- website URL
- description
If you need to add more other information about your customers or deals, add custom fields using the field constructor. For example, to store customers’ preferred methods of contacting you.

Add a custom field
In section “Settings → Field constructor” click “New field”.

Type a name for the new field and select its type:
- one-line text: for short text values up to 256 characters
- multi-line text: for long text values
- number: entered value will be converted to a number
- drop-down list: selection from several pre-defined values
- date: a calendar to pick a date
Select the items for which you want to store values in the new field: persons, companies, or deals.
Save the new field.
Save additional information in custom fields of customers and deals
The new field is now available during the editing of customers and deals. Add values them and save.

Below is an example of a custom field on the deal-editing screen:
