Multiple questions

Hi there,

I would appreciate if you would answer the following questions. Thanks

1. I want to use a single image for all products. How can I add, a single image for all products at once, instead of adding the image individually for all products. For example, see the following link. I want to use the same capacitor image for all. But I have to do the adding process individually for all capacitors. It takes too long. Is there any short way of doing that.

http://www.applied-electronics.com/Components/capa...

2. The product availability is shown for each product like this for example:

Availability: in stock (100 pcs.)

How to avoid showing the number of available product (i.e. 100 pcs.). I want to the customers to see either "in stock" or "out of stock"

3.How to add "META Keywords" or "Tags" for all identical products at once instead of individually? That is to speed the process.

4. Can you provide description and example of parts under "Description & SEO". I want to know the details of "Summary", "Tags", Page Title, META Keywords, etcs.

Regards,

Sayed

    1. There is a shorter way—import images via a CSV file. In your CSV file, you can simply copy an image file name or URL across multiple products.
    2. See code example below.
    3. Use import from a CSV file.
    4. Those fields are supposed to be intuitively understandable. But if you ask...
      • Summary: brief product description, usually displayed on category-listing pages and in other product lists in the storefront
      • Tags: text labels associated with a certain product, displayed in a tag cloud in the storefront in the form of hyperlinks
      • Page Title: contents of the TITLE tag on the product-viewing page in the storefront
      • META Keywords: contents of META tag "keywords"

    2. Here is an example for Default theme. Find the following code in file product.cart.html:

    {function name=in_stock n=0 low=5 critical=2}

    {if $n > $low or $n === null}

    <strong class="stock-high"><i class="icon16 stock-green"></i>[`In stock`]</strong>

    {elseif $n > $critical}

    <strong class="stock-low"><i class="icon16 stock-yellow"></i>{* _w("Only %d left in stock", "Only %d left in stock", $n) *}{_w("Only a few items left")}</strong>

    {elseif $n > 0}

    <strong class="stock-critical"><i class="icon16 stock-red"></i>{_w("Only %d left in stock", "Only %d left in stock", $n)}</strong>

    {else}

    <strong class="stock-none"><i class="icon16 stock-transparent"></i>{if $wa->shop->settings('ignore_stock_count')}[`Pre-order only`]{else}[`Out of stock`]{/if}</strong>

    {/if}

    {/function}

    Change it as shown below:

    {function name=in_stock n=0 low=5 critical=2}

    {if $n > 0 or $n === null}

    <strong class="stock-high"><i class="icon16 stock-green"></i>[`In stock`]</strong>

    {else}

    <strong class="stock-none"><i class="icon16 stock-transparent"></i>{if $wa->shop->settings('ignore_stock_count')}[`Pre-order only`]{else}[`Out of stock`]{/if}</strong>

    {/if}

    {/function}
