What you can check and try to fix yourself in case of errors in the functioning of your Webasyst account:
- Clear cache in the Settings app. After that, valid cache will be generated again. Cache is temporary files that are used to reduce load on the server by using fixed pre-calculated data.
- Install updates in Installer. We recommend regularly installing updates at least for the Webasyst framework as it affects the functioning of your entire site.
- Temporarily enable the debug mode in the Settings app. In this mode, some error messages may become more verbose and thus help you fix certain issues. Disable the debug mode after obtaining diagnostic information to avoid slowing down your account because cache is not used in this mode.
- Check for new error messages in log files and in the browser console. If you don’t know what they mean, send them to the Webasyst support team.
- Temporarily disable plugins in Installer’s “Assets” section. This way you can sometimes find a plugin in which an error occurs. Contact the plugin’s support and tell them about the found error.
- Check the nginx web server configuration (if it is used on your server) to ensure that it corresponds to the standard configuration example. The server administrator’s assistance may be required.
- Check the caching server status if you have set up connection to such a server using the wa-config/cache.php file. The server administrator’s assistance may be required.
