Moving website to another domain name

1. Map new domain to your account

If your site is located in Webasyst Cloud. Connect the new domain to your account by following a separate article.

If your website is hosted on a third-party server. Edit domain properties in your DNS or web-hosting account by specifying for it the web server directory with Webasyst scripts installed.

In either case, wait until your new domain displays the login screen to access your Webasyst account.

2. Replace domain name in settings

Open the Site app in your Webasyst backend and replace the previous domain name with the new one. Right after that your site will become available only on the new domain.
