Creating a website with Webasyst

You can easily create a website with Webasyst, either by creating an account in Webasyst Cloud or by installing the software on your own web server (choose your option).

  1. Sign up for a Cloud account.
  2. Choose any design variant in section "Themes" of the Installer app. Install a free or purchase a paid design theme.
  3. Navigate to the Site app and open the "Structure" screen. In the available list of site sections, which consists of only 1 entry by default, click on the entry for Site app, select the desired design theme, and save your changes.

    If you cannot see an entry for Site app in the list of available website sections, then simply add on using the "New rule" button.
  4. While within the Site app. open the "Pages" screen. Add any pages you want, specify their titles, URLs, and enter text.
  5. Upon saving a page, click on the quick view link at the top to see how the page is displayed to visitors.

Just after signup in Webasyst Cloud, your website URL will have the form *** It is a service URL, which you can use to log into your administrative backend. Learn how to link your own domain to Webasyst Cloud.
