Setting up “Brands” plugin to filter products by brands in Shop-Script storefront

“Brands” plugin allows storefront visitors to quickly view lists of products sharing the same value of a certain product feature; e.g., brand or manufacturer. To view such groups of products, a customer needs to click on a link with the desired text value.

Below is shown an example of the “Brands” plugin’s links displayed in the storefront:

To enable product filtering with this plugin, first install it in the Installer app.

Then add a new product feature with one of the formats: “Single value selection from a list” or “Multiple values selection from a list” in section “Store → Settings → Product types & Features”.

Select the desired values of this feature in your products’ properties.

And finally select that product feature’s name in the plugin’s settings available in the “Plugins” section.
