Publishing news list in Shop-Script storefront

This article explains how to publish the list of latest news in your Shop-Script storefront using the free Blog app.

1. Install Blog

To install this app, open “Installer → Applications” section, click on app name, and complete the installation.

2. Copy snippet code

After Blog is installed, new element blog.latest_posts will appear in “Blocks” section of the Site app . Click on that block name to see its source code.

Copy the block's snippet at the top of the block-viewing screen:

{$wa->block("blog.latest_posts")}

3. Add snippet code to design template file

Open section “Shop → Storefront”, select the desired design template file, and add the copied snippet to the desired location.

4. Publish news

To make your news appear in the storefront, publish them using the Blog app. News titles with author name, publication date, and a brief summary will appear in the Shop-Script storefront.
